“KSLA Blair Bedford: Teachers as Readers: Diversity: Native American Heritage”
ZOOM meeting coordinating with KSLA Raystown Country and KSLA Cambria County
Facilitator: Catherine Rodgers, retired elementary school teacher from the Hollidaysburg Area School District.
Attendees will discuss children’s literature on the Native American heritage by Native American authors and illustrators, and how diversity is important in today’s education.

Presenter: Timothy and Stacey J. Miller
Tim is the Director for Curriculum and Professional Development at the
Tuscarora Intermediate Unit. Stacey is the head teacher for the Partial
Hospitalization Program through the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit. They
traveled to Oxford this summer where Tim presented at Oxford University.
They will be sharing their personal experiences while highlighting literature
from Oxford.
