We are an organization of people who strive to improve reading instruction, promote literacy, and encourage lifetime readers. Since 1989, Raystown Country Reading Chapter has sponsored three to four yearly programs, free of charge, to all interested persons encouraging the appreciation and enjoyment of reading and literacy throughout Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin counties and beyond.
Our goals are to actively support literacy issues locally, in Pennsylvania, and internationally.
We continue professional growth and personal awareness.- Members meet and work with others who share a common interest and concern.
Our chapter increases knowledge and experience in regard to literacy issues.
